About Ozan Demirözer

I was born in 1978 in Gaziantep. I completed my undergraduate studies in the Plant Protection Department at the University of Çukurova (Anada, Turkey). I am currently working as a professor in Entomology. I have carried out research, projects, and articles on Integrated Pest Management, especially on thrips (Thysanoptera), both at national and international (in the USA, FL). Side effects of pesticides and biopesticides on non-target organisms (predators, parasitoids, and pollinators) and innovative pest management studies are among my areas of interest and research. I also have experience in many projects and articles on insect biodiversity. Music, scuba diving, and photography are among my favorite hobbies.
