My duties and responsibilities as a CAMO Engineer;- Contact with aircraft and component manufacturers and evaluate all related Service Bulletins, letters and other information.- Follow up and evaluation of Airworthiness Directives (AD)- Up-to-date the AD files, archiving the implementation forms of the ADs carried out.- Follow up the Aircraft Maintenance Program up-to-date, revise, evaluate and propound to Continuing Airworthiness Manager.- Follow up and evaluate the Service Bulletins and Service Letters regarding the aircraft systems and engines.- To notify manufacturers for inaccurate, ambiguous incomplete maintenance procedures, practices, information or instructions.- Follow up and update Hard Time and LLP lists.

My responsibilities at this project are to design a nozzle which is going to be used for active road anti-icing systems to spray a chemical solution and implement flow analysis on it. Project is run together with İSBAK (İstanbul Ulaşım Haberleşme ve Güvenlik Teknolojileri A.Ş.).

As an intern, I have worked on the topics of continuing airworthiness, maintenance procedures and planning of the helicopters for both line and base.

Designing a new low-bypass turbofan engine capable of emulating fifth generation fighter aircraft qualities for Northrop Grumman’s T-38 jet trainer which is currently powered by J85-GE-5A turbojet engines.

My responsibilities at this project consist of determining mission design of asounding rocket (according to the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA)'s rules for Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition), designing allthe structural and mechanical parts/members and the propulsion systems of the rocket ( nosecones, body tubes, fins, couplers, bulkheads, ejection(guillotine) systems, propulsion systems, descending systems ( parachutes etc.) ), manufacturing all parts/members and executing all necessary test and analysis both computationally and experimentally and optimizing the performances. The team has launched their 100% own design rocket including propellants and motors on June 26, 2015 at Greenriver, UTAH successfully.

Fuego NanoSat was a student project that aims to design a constellation of nano satellites on the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) which includes 24 nano satellites in order to provide the transfer of the 1 meter resolution images of a specific region (for our project the region was south-east borders of the Republic of Turkey) to the ground stations (one of them is located at Alanya, Turkey, the other one is located Stellenbosch, South Africa) in 1 hour from the moment of the request. I have designed the communication systems of the NanoSatellites ( uplink, downlink, crosslink), done all the calculations and market study and determined which hardwares are going to be used for the mission.

As an intern, I have worked on the topics of maintenance procedures of the commercial aircrafts (especially Airbus A320 family) and maintenance planning, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, EASA Part-145 and Part-M and became familiar with the WINGS programme.

Designing structural/mechanical members of a sounding rocket, manufacturing all members and making both computational and experimental analysis of the produced parts. The team has launched their rocket on June 27, 2014 at Greenriver, UTAH half-successfully.

The team prepared for AIAA‘s Annual CanSat Competition and worked through to increase the public awareness on the topic of civil rocketry and prepared “Civil Rocketry/Aviation Regulations” document in order to prevent any obstacles for future work because of the absence of such regulations in Turkey by inspiring the same regulations of the developed countries such as USA, Canada, Austria etc.
