I worked as a freelance commercial photographer for BH Publications, renowned publishers of high-end magazines such as BH Exclusive, New Forest Exclusive, and Lloyds Living the Dream. My role involved capturing captivating images for various articles. I had the opportunity to travel extensively across the south coast of England, photographing events, conducting interviews, and showcasing businesses such as hotels and restaurants for reviews. Additionally, I played a significant role in the El-Gourmet food guide, photographing 35 restaurants, including 3 Michelin-starred establishments, and renowned chefs like Gary Rhodes, Allen Roux, Mark Hix, Raymond Blanc, and Atul Kochhar. This experience not only allowed me to refine my photography skills but also expanded my business network significantly.

Realising my passion for creativity, I made a pivotal career shift from finance to photography. After completing a photography course in London, I established Apex Photographic, offering a range of services including portraits, wedding photography, and photography courses. This venture allowed me to explore the diverse and creative world of photography.Starting my own photography business not only provided me with the opportunity to pursue my hobby professionally but also allowed me to enhance my communication skills and gain confidence in working independently. As a foreigner in the UK, I faced challenges in acquiring clients, but this experience laid the foundation for future entrepreneurial endeavors.Most of the skills I acquired in photography were self-taught, driven by my unwavering dedication and passion for the craft. I continuously honed my technical abilities, experimented with various photography styles, and pushed the boundaries of creativity. This self-guided learning journey enabled me to develop a unique artistic vision and deliver exceptional photography services.Operating Apex Photographic enabled me to build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique requirements, and deliver personalized photography experiences. From 2006 to September 2009, I worked as an Chartered Certified Accountant and financial advisor, remotely assisting clients in Turkey while based in Bournemouth, UK. During this period, I provided comprehensive financial services, including managing records, analysing data, and offering strategic guidance. I also studied English as a second language during this time. My experience allowed me to excel in financial management, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions to clients. Working across borders, I effectively bridged the gap and contributed to the success of organisations.

I pursued a career in accountancy and finance after university, becoming a member of the Ankara Chamber of Public Accountants and Financial Advisors. Under the mentorship of Erdogan Coskun, I completed a two-year comprehensive training program.During this period, I gained hands-on experience managing accounts and finances for various companies. I handled financial statement preparation, budgeting, tax planning, and internal controls.This training developed my expertise in accounting principles, financial management, and regulatory compliance. I honed skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, and interpreting data for strategic decision-making.Collaborating closely with Erdogan Coskun, I embraced professionalism, ethics, and client-centric service. My training reinforced accuracy, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach.I gained practical knowledge in identifying financial inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and driving profitability.Training at the Ankara Chamber of Public Accountants and Financial Advisors shaped my career.
