Ozay Kron grew up in a family of artists in Istanbul among statues, photographs, and paintings. She continued her artistic development in a high school of visual and performing arts. She gained experience working in commercial graphic arts companies in Istanbul, and graduated from Turkey’s premier art institution – Mimar Sinan University – in Istanbul. In university, she focused on frescoes, mosaics, oil and acrylic on canvas while also working as a performing artist in various lead and supporting roles on television, and in theater. Her experiences in American society have added new dimensions to her observations of people and their social environments.
