Mr. Cem Özer is a California Licensed Professional Engineer with over 30 years of professional experience. He has extensive experience in structural design and seismic evaluation of medium to high rise structures in high risk seismic zones. Mr. Cem Özer has served as Lead Project Engineer in several large scale commercial, residential and office building projects in the United States for both private clients and the US Government. His duties included overseeing structural design and coordination of all related engineering disciplines, as well as overall responsibility for quality control, budget and schedule.In addition to working on several projects in Turkey and the United States, Mr. Cem Özer has experience in working on projects in other countries around the world, including; P.R. of China, Russia, India, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.Mr. Cem Özer is familiar Uniform Building Code (UBC 1997), ASCE 7,ASCE Standard for Design of Blast Resistant Buildings, several OSHPD and FEMA documents related to seismic design and seismic evaluation and retrofit of structures.In addition, Mr. Cem Özer has co-authored technical papers on seismic design of structures.
