Night shift and Operations manager for the largest distribution company in the UK working from 2 of the largest sites in London during my time with the Company, London Central and Dagenham. • Responsible for the management of over 40 staff members. Ensuring the warehouse and delivery operations run as cost effectively as possible. • Accountable for all security and fire measures within the sites, including management of the CCTV and alarm systems as well as orchestrating the security of all fleet vehicles.• Responsible for managing the team in accordance with the Company HR, Health and Safety and Quality procedures.• Required to manage and monitor weekly budget of up to £25,000 for staffing needs

Bahrain

• Responsible for managing the security/loss prevention operations of 245 rooms and 23 private villas and 11 outlets.• Managed a team of 95, across 25 separate locations on continual 24-hour rotation. • Responsible for developing, implementing, and training over 600¬ hotel staff in all aspects of loss mitigation and fire safety. • Re-structured and implemented a new staff schedule and rotation process that saved £12,000, in the first quarter of implementation. • Trained, assessed and implemented a new Under Vehicle Surveillance system to increase property access, safety and security• Chaired member of the Overseas American Security Council, conducting monthly operational security reviews in Bahrain and GCC.• Implemented, designed and maintained an upgrade to the existing CCTV system to enhance security coverage to the hotel. • Built close working lines with local government agencies and private security details, in support of VIP visits from Heads of States to Global Celebrities. • Restructured and implemented a new Fire safety and evacuation package, in order to improve the existing standards of the hotels system.

Bahrain

• Responsible for managing the security/loss prevention operations of three outlets: whilst managing a team of 21, across 5 separate locations on continual 24-hour rotation. • Areas of responsibilities include protection of the venues, employees, guests; up to 4000 per week and property assets, accident and fire prevention and response. • Required to conduct quarterly staff performance appraisals. • Required to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts, in order to uphold the standard of the venue and hotel.• Built rapport with local law enforcement and government ministers; including direct contact with VIP Security and Protocol officers for Ministerial events and conferences. • Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures in line with the hotel and venue standards.• Implementation of a brand new £60,000 CCTV package from conception, installation and monitoring. Since implementation CCTV has been used to support the Safety and Security of guests and staff.
