About Özgür Güler, Phd
As the Chief Technology Officer of eKare Inc., I lead the research and development of innovative solutions for wound assessment and management, using computer vision and machine learning. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of computer assisted surgery (CAS) and robotics, where I have developed and tested image-guided systems, integrated robots, and simulated interventions.I am also a guest lecturer at Georgetown University, where I share my knowledge and passion for CAS and robotics with students and faculty. I have contributed to the CAS research community by providing free open-source toolkits and applications, as well as introducing a new biomarker for neuroscience. My mission is to advance the science and technology of CAS and robotics, and to improve the quality and safety of patient care.
