Experienced Safety Launch System Engineer | Entrepreneur in Aerospace & EngineeringFrom 2012 to 2025, I served as a Safety Launch System Engineer at the French Space Agency (CNES), working within the European Spaceport (CSG) in French Guiana. Over more than a decade, I contributed to some of the most innovative and ambitious space programs in Europe. My key responsibilities included: • Hazard Mitigation by Design: Ensuring that space systems, including Ariane 6, VEGA-C, and the Callisto demonstrator, were designed to avoid catastrophic hazards throughout their operational lifecycle at CSG. • Safety Coordination: Managing safety across all industrial facilities during operational activities, including launcher assemblies (Soyuz, VEGA, Ariane 5), spacecraft preparation areas, pyrotechnic solid and cryogenic propellant production plants, and launch countdown operations. • Regulatory Compliance: Developing environmental studies and pyrotechnic safety files to secure state authorizations for operating launch facilities. In addition to my career at CNES, I co-founded two start-ups: • AK-Architecture: A company dedicated to innovative architectural and engineering solutions. • Synergy Media Space: Focused on supporting the development of reusable space launchers. Our services include providing specialized engineering expertise and navigating the complex certification processes required for reusable launch vehicles. My academic background includes: • A five-year aerospace engineering degree from IPSA (Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées), with part of the program completed at UCSD (University of California, San Diego) in 2011. • A Specialized Master’s in Aeronautical Maintenance and Support from ISAE (SUPAERO-ENSICA) in 2012.Today, I continue to channel my passion for space and engineering as I focus on entrepreneurial ventures that push the boundaries of aerospace innovation.

I am currently co-director and BIM Manager. The company combines the expertise of architect and engineer in order to promote buildings based on a sustainable development approach, taking into account disabled access standards and affordable for all.For example, AK-Architecture have designed more than the half of the buildings of the future social ecological district of Remire-Montjoly. -
Safety Launch System EngineerCentre National D'Études Spatiales Nov 2012 - PresentKourouMy main missions at the European Space Port (CSG) consist in: - Certification of modifications (Ariane 5, Soyuz, Vega) or new launch systems (Ariane 6, VEGA-C and the Japanese/European reusable launcher Callisto). Performing hazard analyses to make sure that by design space systems don’t generate hazard during their operational life in CSG. That implies close collaboration with the industrial companies (Airbus, Safran, AVIO, Air Liquide, Thales, etc…), and other agencies such as the European Space Agency (ESA) and The Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) for the common military and civil equipment. To finish, I am regularly mandated by space manufacturer to participate to design review as a safety expert. - Managing co-activity between facilities on all the European Space Port and ground operations safety during launch count-down. - Performing the regulatory applications (Environmental and Pyrotechnic) to request operating licenses for launch facilities. That implies close collaboration with the Regional Environment Directorate and meeting with the local population to demonstrate and convince that space activities have no impact toward the environment and with the General Delegation of Army for the license request to operate pyrotechnic facilities. - Controlling the propellant production facilities like the Hydrogen production facilityI decide to end my contract with the French Space Agency for 5 year starting from June the 1st of 2019 -
