I am an ICT specialist in the healthcare sector with over 20 years’ experience. Migrated to Australia in year 2022 and currently I am working in UNSW Sydney on healthcare big data research. Responsible for the ETL of CERNER data and Cardiac AI operational dashboard.Worked as a system analyst of the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong, Electronic Health Record Team, I have been developing, testing, training and implementing Clinical Management System (CMS) On-ramp, which is one of the key components in the Electronic Health Record Sharing System in Hong Kong. CMS On-ramp is implemented to over 40 healthcare providers and used by 800 healthcare professionals with zero major incidents. I actively advise healthcare professionals on formulating strategy and plan for electronic medical record system implementation, integration with existing applications, business continuity and disaster recovery. I manage sub-ordinates and monitor the progress on system test, deployment, implementation, on-going support and follow up of CMS On-ramp application. Lead the system performance test including browser performance test, load test, soak test, stress test for CMS On-ramp and other healthcare applications and suggest ways on performance tuning. I work closely with vendors on the setup, security control and support of eHR Bulletin and Service Provider Portal hosting on Microsoft Azure Cloud and prepare training materials and management reports including quality management review and system utilization.I was successful in setting up the document management system and Infection Control/Infectious Disease Training Portal and management of various websites including a WIKI server, Avian Flu, Human Swine Influenza and the departmental websites and several e-Learning Courses for the Infectious Disease Control Training Centre of the Hospital Authority / Infection Control Branch, Centre for Health Protection. My contribution was also made in the design, programming, system maintenance and user support for the Operating Theatre Management System (OTMS) used by 14 public acute hospitals in Hong Kong,
