Trusu was acquired in Feb 2019 by Hong Kong based logistics company ZipX, where I stayed on as the Managing Director to lead international expansion of the platform and business.

Founded the Asia operations for Rocket Internet in Shenzhen, China. Strategized and set up logistics for Asia-Latin America-Africa cross border commerce. Searched for, on-boarded, and trained new supplier accounts throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, and other Asian countries. Hired and trained local team of over 10 people to run operations in China, including marketing, logistics, and account management. Served as the main point of contact in the China office for Rocket Internet companies in Latam, Africa, and SE Asia.

Helped launch the International Marketplace business unit for Linio in Latin America. Connected with online retailers throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia as a result. Also helped set up the strategy for expansion of the new business unit.Designed and implemented the strategy behind a private label launch for Linio. Oversaw global sourcing opportunities and planned the strategy and trade logistics for retail imported products into Latin America. Worked with buyers, sourcing, marketing, designers, and developers to coordinate and agree on products being imported, as well as their sales pipeline.
