Norsk Flygerforbund (Cockpit Association of Norway) was founded in 1948 and organises professional pilots, task specialists, instructors and students across the Norwegian aviation industry. Our experts engage authorities and politicians to protect flight safety and advance social, financial and environmental sustainability.Flight safety and industrial policy are key to our work, and over the course of the last few decades, following deregulation and a common aviation market, national policy has largly been formed by international standards. While we have been heavily engaged in ECA and IFALPA since their foundings, in 2022 the board of directors decided that the ambitions of our European and global policy work was better served outside of the committee structure with an independent International Director. Upon the request of the association President, I decided to step back into the organisation in a more central role as part of the Executive Council to serve the pilot community in Norway as our primary liaison to our international partners.My work consists of engaging with other airline pilot associations, our national umbrella LO, their international network, our regional umbrella European Cockpit Association and our global umbrella International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations, to develop and promote industrial and flight safety policy. I am the association's designated IFALPA Director and representative at the IFALPA Professional & Government Affairs Committee.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines was established in 1946 and is the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It is a founding member of Star Alliance, it was the first over the North Pole and the first trans-national airline. In Europe SAS serves an extensive network to major cities across the continent, as well as leisure destinations. The intercontinental network covers both Asian and North American destinations. Having been with the company for four years before the pandemic, I returned to SAS in March 2023.SAS hubs are Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. I am assigned to the Oslo base and fly the Airbus A330 on the intercontinental network, and the A320 on the Norway domestic, Scandinavian and European networks.

St. Hallvard Catholic Parish in Oslo is one of Norway's largest with 16.000 members. The parish was established in 1890, and the current church was consecrated in 1966. According to The Code of Canon Law of the Catholic Church, each parish shall have a Finance Council to assist with administering the temporal goods of the parish.On the request of the parish priest, I was appointed to the council in 2017 by Bishop Bernt I. Eidsvig of Oslo, and have had a primary responsibility for the development and implementation of our capital allocation strategy. Notably I worked with both the Parish Council, the Finance Council and consecutive parish priests in establishing and operationalising 'Hallvardsfondet' - our future fund, and a central part of our long-term financial planning.During my tenure I have also taken part in the financial steering of the largest renovation project in the church's history. It saw extensive repair work done on the facade, the roof and supporting structure, a recasting of the concrete floor, installation of a ventilation system and a complete overhaul of the electrical system.

The Australian Association (Norway) is a non-profit organisation for Australians and friends of Australia in Norway. Established in 2007 and currently under the patronage of H.E. Ambassador Kerin Ayyalaraju, the association hosts national events such as Australia Day celebrations and the Anzac Day commemoration ceremony, as well as social gatherings for the Australian community in Norway.The management of the association is vested in a Committee. As an association member since 2015, I was honoured to be elected to the Committee in March 2024.
