With over 20 years of experience as a US-trained Geotechnical Engineer, I have successfully designed, managed, and executed complex projects for both the US Government and private sector clients in the US and Europe. As the US and NATO Project Director at MM Group Consulting Engineers, I lead a talented cross-functional team of in-house engineers to deliver innovative, sustainable, and robust solutions while staying within budget and timeline constraints. I take pride in collaborating with leaders at firms and construction contractors of all sizes around the globe to successfully design and build projects in the European theater and beyond.During my tenure as the Environmental Planning Branch Head at NAVFAC, NSA Souda Bay, I ensured compliance with environmental regulations for construction on the installation. I also became an expert in environmental compliance as I was responsible for managing multiple environmental media, including Drinking Water, Waste Water, Hazardous Waste, Air/Radon, Historical/Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, and Pesticides. As the Natural Resources Manager, I had the opportunity to interface with Host Nation Archeological authorities to facilitate mitigation of impacts to archeology in a high-profile military construction project to the benefit of all parties. In recognition of my exceptional contributions to the US Navy, I was honored to receive the coveted Navy Civilian Service Achievement medal.Prior to joining NAVFAC, I worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for URS (now AECOM), where I gained valuable field experience and executed geotechnical work for several high-profile infrastructure projects along the US east coast, including New Jersey and New York City. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and an ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
