As a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, I am conducting cutting-edge research in underwater acoustics, digital signal processing, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. My work involves developing algorithms to analyze underwater sound data, contributing to advancements in marine research.

Lead Manpower Requirements Manager and Data Analyst for OPNAV N97 Undersea Warfare Division.

Directorate Security Coordinator at OPNAV N97.

Division Officer responsible for all communications external and internal to the ship. Lead a division of 15 sailors.

Utilizes knowledge of the ocean environment gained from B.S. in Marine Sciences to advise the chain of command on how to tactically employ the ship. Only officer in this role on board.

Ensures the safe execution of maintenance on systems vital to ship’s safety.

Led a division of 15 sailors responsible for all nuclear power plant and propulsion mechanical systems.

Acquired practical training in nuclear propulsion operations. Training encompassed nuclear reactor and engine room startup, shutdown, casualty response and control, and maintenance operations.

Completed coursework in physics, mathematics, chemistry, thermodynamics, radiological controls, electrical engineering, reactor dynamics, and propulsion plant control.
