ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design of Press tools, Fixtures,Guages and Special purpose machines and applying GD & T principles in drafting machine drawings.• Designed to minimize material cost and improve productivity through lean principles and by low cost tooling.• Formulated and implemented a sensor that worked with environmental elements to ensure safety of dies while in process.• Handling sheet metal component development trial run and problem solving. • Provoide concept and operation stages approval from customer and documentation of records.• Engineering changes follow-up with customer. • Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute tasks/projects (new development, product improvement, value engineering, analysis, etc) to completion with focus on resource allocation, costing, execution & timelines.• Provided technical support services to the Engineering Department Staff and Faculty.• Work with cross functional teams for project execution.• Taking tool tials & solving problem in BIW part development.• knowledge in BIW part joining techniques.• Knowledge on GD&T and ASME Y14.5 Y2009 standards.• Knowledge on tolerance stack-up.• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel.
