Total 3 years of IT experience in Linux administration with 24X7 support environment.• LVM file system management like vg, lv and file system creation etc. • Experience on implementing g Server Hardening(SCD).• Hands on OS installing,OS upgrading for Redhat servers.• Good understanding of various file systems likes ext3, ext4 and XFS.• SWAP partition creation, increase, and decrease as per requirement.• Creating and Managing Users / Group accounts and setup a user's work environment.• Hands on experience with yum server and patching activities.• Hands on experience with updating kernel modules, kernel parameters and user limits.• Experience on SUDO configuration for providing the limited user privileges.• YUM server configurations and package installation with yum and rpm• Checking the Servers performance using monitoring tools like sar, vmstat, top, and Iostat etc.• Experience with Network file system (NFS) server to share the files and directories from primary server to standby servers.• NTP server configuration and make sure all Server are synchronized with NTP server.• Have experience in syslog server configuration and client configurations.• Assigning the permissions and owner ships for files and directories.• Experience on SELinux enable and disable.• Task scheduling by Crontab command and providing Crontab permissions for application and database teams.
