TEM, Selected Area Diffraction, Dark Field, HRTEM, EDS, STEM with EELS, cryo-TEM.• Over 10 year of solid experiences of materials development and materials analysis on coating/thin films (VO2 and SiO2), single crystals (MgF2 and LiI), organic-mineral composites (collagen-HAP), polymers (PLA, PEG and PGA) and metals (Mg alloys), ceramics (Y2O3-CeO2-ZrO2, Sr(Ba)TiO3), glass (MgO-CaO-SiO2-F) etc.• Hands-on experience on sample preparation for TEM, HRTEM, cryo-TEM and SEM by cutting/sectioning by diamond saw, Jet-grinding, polishing, ion-milling/FIB, freezing, microtomy and carbon/gold coating, and equipment maintenance.• Be skillful in using other techniques, such as PLM, XRD, AFM, TG-DSC, and FTIR etc for characterization.• Proven ability in independent interpretation and decision-making. Have experience on training staff and writing technical report with good communication skills.• Hands-on experience of operation and imaging with TEM (such as JEOL200CX, JEOL2010 with EDS, Philips CM30F-GIF, FEI Tecnai F20, JSM1210 and FEI Tecnai T12), HRTEM (JEOL2010, JEOL-4000EX and FEI Tecnai F20), STEM (HB501-EELS), Field-Emission SEM (JSM6330F and JSM6700F) and cryo-TEM (FEI Tecnai F20, CM300F and CM200F).
