Frank Stevick has a diverse background as a 22-year (1998-2020) Coast Guard veteran as a Chief Election, over seven years of environmental education with two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree in environmental studies and over 8 years of experience as a professional environmental researcher and service provider. Franks professional environmental experience includes wetland delineations and mitigation using a watershed approach, eelgrass delineations, screening and biological survey/evaluations surveying for fishes, small mammals, birds, and invertebrates, Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) studies and clean up for terrestrial soils and groundwater, National Pollutant Discharge System (NPDES) studies and compliance for marine sediments, and environment documentation. Frank is also well versed in environmental documentation and permitting. He has overseen, reviewed, and produced numerous environmental projects requiring SEPA, Shoreline Management Act (SMA), Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA), Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Federal Consistency, JARPA, NEPA, Section 404 permits for Discharge of Dredge or Fill Materials, Section 401 permits for Water Quality Certification, Department of Archaeology and Historical Preservation (DAHP), and Phase I Environmental site Assessments for site development and Fee-to-Trust land transfers for native tribes documentation to be in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental policies.As a team leader for subtidal SCUBA surveys Frank has spent many hours underwater collecting benthic invertebrate data for analysis and is proficient with various analysis tools such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), JMP, and Excel. Other statistical tools and packages Frank is familiar with include R and SPSS.
