Leading Pro4People, a mid-size software house located in Wrocław, Poland, which specializes in building custom IT solutions for the medical market. Together with CEO, I’m currently focused on the company’s business development: building and implementing the company sales and marketing strategy, offering tailored IT research and development services, building business relationships and working with current clients.Besides that, my Chief Operating Officer role involves strategic and operational planning, working closely with CFO on the company’s budget planning and implementation, as well as competency and recruitment management together with the HR manager. Additionally, I’m responsible for leading and supervising research and development teams which deliver IT services to Pro4People’s clients.

A project manager in a few research and development projects delivering innovative IT products mostly for UK-based customers from the medical sector. This included developing the following medical products: a SaaS platform to generate microservice components for medical IoT products, a connected health solution to increase blood circulation, and mobile applications supporting clinical trials for hypertension and insomnia.Led teams consisting of several project roles such as software developers, business analysts, quality assurance engineers, UI/UX designers, DevOpses. The projects were combining agile practices focused on delivering project outcomes in an iterative way with a maturity approach oriented on assuring that all regulatory requirements are met and complex project goals achieved in a managed way. The software development life cycle was compliant with IEC 62304, and the selected projects were delivered under ISO 13485 Certified Quality Management System.As a project manager, I took the primary responsibility for project planning and execution within time, budget and regulatory constraints. This included managing project communication, overcoming challenges and obstacles, proposing solutions that would meet Client’s expectations, working closely with Client’s product teams and assuring project velocity and efficiency. Thanks to the technical background, I was able to understand and influence the proposed technical solution and assure that it fulfilled Client’s business goals.

Technical Leader in an Industrial Internet of Things project focused on releasing a predictive maintenance solution for the global market. Took responsibility for selecting the project toolset, defining the AWS-based architecture, building the technology stack and leading a team of software engineers. The first MVP version of an IoT solution was successfully released within less than 12 months from the project initiation.
