I am an experienced Lead Specialist at Deloitte Portugal with over 12 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Virtual Reality, and more recently, Generative AI. I've played a significant role in Deloitte's innovation initiatives, contributing to the design, creation, and implementation of numerous AI and Data Analytics projects.I hold both an MSc and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal). For 7 years, I worked as a researcher at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS) at University of Minho, where I developed 3D medical solutions to aid and simulate minimally invasive surgeries. I was also an invited professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave (IPCA) at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.I have worked on a wide range of projects in diverse roles, tackling both technical and non-technical challenges.
