As Head of Digital Innovation at North Tyneside Council and the Chief Digital Officer at the North of Tyne Combined Authority I am chair of the regional digital infrastructure board and responsible for the delivery of regional place-based connectivity and digital strategies. I have a strong background in enterprise architecture, the delivery of digital infrastructure and the implementation of nationally recognised smart/IoT technology programmes at a city and regional scale. As a technology leader with 18 years of experience in the public sector, I manage the transformation of places, including enabling economic growth and tackling digital inclusion through the deployment of infrastructure and connectivity.
