Crowder is a tech startup based on Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main product it offers is a bundle of applications for ticket sales, comprised by a SaaS for online services and Android and iOS apps for points of sale, access control systems, and sales representatives.It started as an academic project in 2011 and came to market in 2013, with me being one of the students that carried out the project and developed the first production version.As a founding member, I participated in the creation of most of the components, and their evolution towards a mature and scalable solution, capable of handling the sales of masive events, with even 30000 concurrent users and peaks of 3000 purchases per minute.The stack of technologies includes: Grails, Hibernate, MySQL, Scala, Android, React, Angular, Backbone JS, NodeJS, PIXI.js among others.

The job involved developing a variety of software projects, using agile methodologies and Test Driven Development.The main focus was on the quality of the produced software, as a result of the company's policy that includes investing in improving the skills of the people.The technologies used during this job included: Scala/Spray/Akka, Rails, and Angular JS

In Ecotaxi, we develop an integral solution to allow the passengers to request for a taxi using an app in their smartphones. Our system then notifies the taxi drivers directly, using the location and the preferences of the passenger to select the most appropriate candidates.The solution consists in 5 different applications, which are a Java EE back-end that uses Hibernate, Spring and Apache CxF, a backoffice developed in Backbone and CoffeeScript, two Android applications and one on iOS.As a Software Engineer, I'm involved in all the development phases of 4 of 5 applications (excluding iOS), from the analysis to the deployment of the changes. These include both maintenance tasks and implementation of new features.We release in a two week schedule, using continuous integration to avoid errors and bugs on production.

I'm currently performing as an independent software developer besides my regular work schedule, building solutions by my own initiative and involving myself in projects that I find interesting. My job here was to develop applications fulfilling the client's requirements, by refining and translating those needs into workable software.I selected the technology I worked on based not only on my experience, but also on the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Tareas Realizadas:Brindar soporte de sistemas, mesa de ayuda por control remoto y teléfono, soporte en sitio, configuración y mantenimiento de Workstations, equipamiento de red y servidores, soporte básico de impresoras, mantenimiento, confección de documentos, automatización de procedimientos, entre otras tareas, para alrededor de 80 terminales distribuídas en tres edificios distintos.Se realizó también una mudanza del edificio principal, que incluyó la baja y alta progresiva de todos los servicios dependientes del departamento de sistemas, y la coordinación con el resto de los departamentos.
