The K´ayra Center is the only one in Bolivia destined for the ex situ management of threatened amphibian species. The functions performed were focused on the ecology and conservation of amphibians, as well as participation in nutritional, health and manipulation programs within the captive breeding of threatened amphibians of the genus Telmatobius.
