I have nearly six years of experience working in international development and humanitarian action within the nonprofit sector. As part of the sister organizations Misiones Salesianas and Jóvenes y Desarrollo, I have managed humanitarian projects in Ukraine, Syria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. I also led a social sports program implemented across 21 schools in 16 countries throughout the Americas, Africa, and Europe.My work involves travelling to foreign project sites across Europe and Africa to meet local partners and institutions, understand their reality, ensure proper processes are in place, and identify possibilities for future projects. For example, I travelled to Warsaw, Poland to plan advanced intervention in Ukraine, focused on education during an emergency and providing aid to those affected (including refugees).I studied business but have always been interested in working with and for people who need it.
