In charge of applying engineering concepts to the optimization of equipment, procedures, and departmental budgets to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of mechanical equipment.Main Duties:Analysis of repetitive equipment failures - RCA (Root cause analysis)Predictive maintenance for the most critical equipment (Vibrations analysis, Infrared Thermography, Oil analysis)Assessing the needs for equipment replacements and establish replacement programs when due.Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipmentAnalyze and solve equipment issues working on lubrication & hydraulic systems, gearboxes, couplings, high speed rotating equipment, bearings, etc..
