About Pablo Maffei, Phd

After selling my company to Mobileum, and leading its transition, I decided to take a sabbatical year....I hiked the Himalayas, sailed across the Atlantic, while always thinking about new ideas. I then decided to build a research team, called Rabbit, by recruiting young and brilliant engineers with the idea of experiencing with some promising technologies, like augmented reality and neural networks. We enjoy a lot researching on these techs, while bringing innovative ideas into prototypes, which eventually will enter into a commercial phase one day. The Rabbit experience was incredibly rich in both human and technological aspects, and maybe its legacy was a new leadership mindset. Now I decided to retake the entrepreneurial path as a co-founder at Briken. I’m really lucky to do what I like to do: create companies, lead teams, evaluate difficulties and create solutions, motivate, collaborate, negotiate and share the conviction that making a better world is possible, at each one’s scale.

Many years later, Mobileum acquired Sigos, a fierce competitor of Adecef at the time, proving Adecef’s acquisition turned to be a strategic asset for the company.
