Main tasks on my day to day are:- Support to researchers within their work field.- Porting and optimization of various scientific application codes to multiple supercomputing platforms. - Performance analysis and benchmarking of applications.- Addressing scientific user issues as they are encountered as users pursue HPC results on the supercomputing resources available.- Collaborating with other functional groups within the center on technical matters related to supporting scientific application work- Technical evaluation on scientific proposals at Spanish Supercomputing Network (RES - Red Española de Supercomputación).- Development and improvement of internal tools and procedures.- Participating in European e-infrastructures projects according to the new technical and requeriments for the adapatation of new technical facilities. Involved in the EUDAT project developing and deploying the B2NOTE pilot service.
