WHY CHOOSE ME FOR YOUR TRANSLATION NEEDS?I dedicate part of my day to providing professional translations, involving projects from Portuguese to English and vice versa. Also, from Portuguese to Spanish and vice versa. In the case of Spanish, it is my native language, as I was born in Madrid. Besides Madrid, I also lived and worked in Portugal in my career as a marketing and communications executive. I also lived and worked in Lisbon. In both cases, in multinational corporations. In all, I lived and worked in Europe between 1987 and 1990.The translations I have produced for 5 years are always relevant and appropriate, and as a consequence of my experience in corporations and business, to the point. They accurately reflect the original text. As one of my personal traits is attention to detail, I often spot small errors that go unnoticed by most people. And I devote my time and effort to honing these abilities.The positions I held as Director General or member of the Executive Board required constant interfaces with the Head Office in Chicago, Munich, New York, and Utrecht. These interfaces were very frequent, and the language was naturally English. Contacts were in writing, by phone, and very often in person. We received visits from Head Office executives, and I traveled frequently. During my career, I made 116 international trips, including those for leisure. It may be interesting to point out that on 2 different occasions in my career I spent extended periods in the head offices of the companies. On one occasion, I spent 3 months between New York and Toronto. In a different instance, I spent 1 month in London.I face the task of translating texts with total commitment. I possess a thorough command of English, Spanish, and Portuguese due to my life experience. So, I feel confident in the quality of my work.
