Worked closely with the focused improvement team, leading a Green Belt project to solve one of the 3 main problems of the bottleneck area in Paracatu/MG plant.Main activities and results:• Using Lean strategies and tools with zero costs, reduced the processing tower setup time, generating a gain of +24 hours/month in its overall production capacity;• Increased the Quality and SHE (Safty, Health and Enviroment) focus with lean tools: reduction of +500 manual well turns/setup process and EPI checklist development for the activity;• Acted in different process improvement activities: Support in the construction, calculation and evaluation of the VSM (Value Stream Mapping) of the Paracatu plant;• Constant work with local and global multifunctional teams. Also supported on trainings in Lean tools for the operational team and their understanding and alingment of the current plant scenario.

Supported the Monsanto Production System (MPS) implementation at Paracatu, MG unit.Main activities and results:• Created the first Standard Work model for the pilot area, developing and rooting the continuous improvement culture within the operational team;• Managed more than 500K (BRL) budget during the MPS implementation and actively supported the organization's management of change.• Acted in cross-functional team building and different trainings for the plant operators in Lean Manufacturing tools: more than 200 people impacted;• Trained managers in the TRACC platform and assisted the management of implementation actions for a pilot area;• Responsible to develop tools for the management and control of the site maturity advancement in Lean practicie which became an internal benchmark;• Weekly meetings with the global implementation team, understanding the current company strategies worldwide for its advanced manufacturing system.

Developed new materials to store energy in electronic devices. The research was able to obtain the best results already published for the class of compound studied, generating recognitions by UFMG.
