Working in the film industry is an unexpected experience I am living. My department is responsible for the organizational aspect of film production from the very beginning to the end of the shooting. I like this job because is active and based on problem-solving. As a PA I am improving many skills such as organizational and administrative skills, computer skills, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work without supervision, versatility and a continuous willingness to learn. Even if it is not what I studied for, I am enjoying working in this field because it allows me to constantly face new challenges and to continuously learn new aspects. Furthermore, the most attractive aspect of this job is that you have to find creative and immediate solutions to all the problems the crew can have.Up to now, I worked on some projects: an American film produced by Netflix (Red Notice, Directed by Dwayne Johnson); an Italian TV series produced for Netflix Europe; a commercial and a Short film (that will open the next edition of the Venice Film Festival) both produced for Campari international by a Britsh film production company.

During my experience at the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia, I had the opportunity to delve into the complex world of diplomacy and consular functions. I assisted Consul Forlano in the carrying out of his functions. Besides, I was responsible for "reinvigorating" the Consulate's social media and assisting the Consul in the organization of the Italian culture festival "Ciao Filadelfia". Finally, given my curiosity to fully understand the functions of the Consulate, I asked to work in some of the departments present in the consular structure, specifically: archives, assistance and citizenship. Working in the latter department, I carried out both front-office and back-office activities. Studying and applying the discipline of the process of obtaining citizenship, I became passionate about the subject. Therefore, I decided to deepen in the academic field the subject dedicating my master thesis to the comparative study of the legislation and jurisprudence concerning citizenship.
