El Fondo Alerce VC tiene foco en emprendimientos tecnológicos en etapas tempranas, con un desarrollo de productos y servicios innovadores y de alcance global.

La tarea de la División es el diseño, financiamiento y coordinación de la Política Nacional de Innovación, lo que incluye la administración del Fondo de Innovación y Competitividad ($120 mil millones aprox.). Encargado de la gestión y coordinación del equipo de la división , asignación de tareas, seguimiento de compromisos y evaluaciones de desempeño. Participa del diseño estratégico de la Política de Innovación 2010 – 14.Contraparte de la Gerencia de Emprendimiento para el diseño e implementación de la política de emprendimiento.Diseña la Agenda de Innovación Social, coordinando distintos ministerios y servicios involucrados. Consejero del Comité de Emprendimiento, consejero suplente del comité INNOVA. Los comités se encargan de aprobar las bases de los programas, las sanciones de los concursos y las asignaciones de recursos.Participa del Grupo Técnico de Innovación de la Alianza del Pacífico, diseñando e implementando una agenda para los 4 países financiado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo por USD $600.000.

The project was chosen by Octantis (Incubator created by Adolfo Ibanez University, funded with private and public funds) among 40 other companies. Led start-up period and the financial and market evaluation of opportunities in the advertisement, educational and health industry.

Led a team of analysts in evaluation and development of policy aimed at increasing broadband penetration, improving market competition, and measuring long terms impacts.Developed the first studies to implement demand sides subsidies. Conclusions claimed the need to change the approach from a network's centered point of view to understand people readiness to broadband.Implemented the first broadband's prices comparison engine.

Developed, evaluated, and implement public policy projects in the telecommunications field.
