As a PHP Architect I co-leaded the creation of an event-driven framework from a monolitic one, following best practices and deep analysis of the existing legacy systems.In this role, so far I have:- Designed the event architecture strategies that were best for the company workflow.- Evolved from heavily coupled logic to separate state machines as a first step to move to a microservice design.- Was involved in the team that created the new microservice-oriented framework and created or modified all the core parts regarding infrastructure (ORM, command and event buses, containers, service providers, etc).- Following API-First, I prepared the OpenAPI design framework to be followed by all our services and programmed automatic OpenAPI tools that are also used as API validators.- Programmed the core parts of the communication with event brokers (SNS-SQS, Kafka) and devised the events strategies.- Introduced AsyncAPI as the official specification to define events, and I prepared an automatic generator of PHP classes, documentation and validation from the AsyncAPI core specification.I care about quality and reliability.

Development of OOP PHP components and libraries for Coowry Ltd.Proof of concept of a web app that obtains and represents data from the Spanish electric system operator using a light framework with DI, OO, unit testing. Development of an accurate invoice simulator and comparator using the official algorithms.Development of a PHP Open Source connection library to access the Spanish electrical daily rates.

As one of the lead developers, I started in the early development stages of the company's Ad Server framework in a high performance environment, to develop the architecture and modules using OO PHP with MySQL, MongoDB and Redis storage, BeanstalkD queues and Memcached. Design of new components, quick integration of new functionalities and unit testing.Other: Implementation of library to operate with SalesForce CRM via SOAP.

After a year dedicated to a project thesis I started a new stage in my career as a freelance computer engineer focusing in Web development and consulting.Focused on areas related to the design and restructuring of new and legacy web sites where distinct technologies and skills are required, such as the knowledge to redesign a large non-normalized database into a well structured one, the creation of an efficient back-end platform to handle elaborate data introduction and querying, and the design of modern front-ends under a CMS that can be easily supported and extended.Technologies: PHP: Joomla; Python: Django; Mysql.

Orange Blogs- Part of the development team of Orange Blogs, several modules including User Management (authentication, profiles system) which involved object-oriented design to handle different authentication realms in server side and development of encryption libraries under PHP and C using the AES encryption system.Analysis and design of a new database schema and implementation of db-independent access layers with the PHP Propel ORM (object-relational mapping) library.France Telecom CMS- Design and implementation of the sitemaps graphical module and server library for the internal CMS used in France Telecom Spain. The technologies chosen were dynamic HTML with jQuery and ExtJs javascript framework and Propel ORM for PHP.

Multiplayer online gaming platform- I was in charge of the expansion project of the multiplayer platform to include different third-party registered users from external environments. The solved problems ranged from signup and identification of external users to handling authentication issues, ACL and privileges and involved the expansion of the server object-oriented framework. In a second stage, I defined the specifications for integration with a mobile platform (Terraplay) and coordinated a team of internal and external developers.

E-commerce application for insurance companies using Java servlets and WebSphere Application Server as an application server and HTML/JavaScript on the client side. Responsible for the deployment of the UML object-oriented methodology, with Java as the development language under the VisualAge for Java environment.

- Leaded the implantation of an object-oriented methodology and the development of a prototype application for administration and billing for the company Aguas de Alicante, from initial design to prototyping and implementation of documentation standards and methodology. The project was implemented in VisualAge for Java.- In the final stage I directed the implementation with our team in Madrid in coordination with the Alicante team.

Lead design and development of the client-server platform for Crédit Andorra Bank agencies in VisualAge Smalltalk for OS/2.As an IBM VisualAge for Smalltalk Associate Developer, I contributed with several tools and techniques until the successful final deployment of the application.

- Development of a new tool for creating graphical user interfaces for the VisualAge Smalltalk environment within the IBM Object Connection Program. This tool was a key component to build the company's products thereafter.- Development of the client application for information system Athena Insurance in Madrid in VisualAge Smalltalk for OS/2. Design of several caching strategies and interface optimizations.
