I'm a hands-on team leader(CSM) with more than six years of experience managing development teams, with a technical background of more than 15 years.I've been working for Travelgenio/Otravosince 2015, where we started the Montevideo office from scratch, forming the main teams and the foundations of the office.My current role is leading the GDS post book team which is in charge of developing and maintaining services to handle communication with the travel products providers such as Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and Travelfusion as well as communication with virtual credit card providers and other external travel related services. The services maintained by the teams include ticketing, optimizations, cancellation, refunds and changes handling.The main responsibilities of the role implies requirement specifications, negotiation with the different stakeholders, scope definition and planning, high level estimations, high level technical definitions and team management .I also have cross team responsibilities related with architectural definitions and definition of new internal products.Despite my management responsibilities I've never fully left my technical role, working on code reviews, incident solving and specific development tasks.
