I am a film fan who loves all aspects of the creative process! I am currently a professional dabbler in the realm of media distribution as I try to put independence back into the independent film market.I've worked on a variety of genres and media types, from digital or unscripted content internships, to student narrative television and short films, giving me insights into the production requirements for all media types and the importance of a healthy job market as a result. I am a firm believer in equity within the labor market in the media industry, and my work since undergrad has been a reflection of that. As a student organization leader, I promoted new policies and actions to give students newer and better opportunities to create and better put their work out there, earning the organization award recognition as a result. Running a student show I prioritized equal opportunity for all regardless of experience, opting to develop student talent and skills as part of the goal to provide educational opportunity to as many students as possible while making it as fun an environment as anyone could within the limitations of student television.My internship experiences at Skybound Entertainment and Archer Gray were incredible opportunities to learn industry analysis and market research within various sectors of the media market, picking up on content and industry trends, and developing ideas as well as pitch materials based on that research.I also bake bread on the side with a cipher hobby and a spiffy drink review instagram page (@thirsttrap.reviews)!
