As a current student at the University of Florida, I am working towards a degree in Economics with a concentration in Econometrics and Data Analysis to graduate in May 2027. During my time at the university, I've focused on getting involved in activities aligned with my professional goals. Though I'm no longer on a pre-law track, I honed my public speaking skills through Phi Alpha Delta's in-house mock trial program, delivering lengthy and detailed opening statements and engaging in oral arguments, ultimately winning first place in our competition. Similarly, I developed my professional writing and research skills through the Florida Undergraduate Law Review while exploring developments in antitrust law. I have also been a Teach For America Ignite Fellow for two semesters, providing personalized, remote language arts tutoring to elementary-age students in historically underserved Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. My recent shift from a pre-law path to a more business-oriented direction aligns with my growing interest in economic analysis, data interpretation, and quantitative work. My economic and data analysis coursework has equipped me with the tools to understand complex datasets and draw meaningful insights from them, skills that I am eager to apply in various settings.I am passionate about leveraging data to solve real-world problems, whether contributing to economic policy discussions, helping businesses make informed decisions, or conducting research that sheds light on important market trends. As I continue my academic journey, I look forward to building on these skills and seeking out opportunities in both the private and public sectors that will challenge me to apply my skills, solve real problems, and contribute to the field of economics.
