The single family home investment ecosystem has gone through some massive shifts, and has more coming... but that shouldn't be bad news for the space. The greatest wealth transfer in history will have Millennials and Gen Z demanding Amazon-level operations from the property management and vendor space (or they will figure out how to do it, themselves).This sounds scary, but if you're a student of category design, you know a few things that should make you salivate at the opportunity...- category winners capture 76% of the market share while everyone else fights for the remaining 24%- new categories are created when a change in context creates a new problem that requires a different solution- the company that can describe the problem the best will be believed to have the best solutionSo a major economic windfall is coming for the winners.How do I fit in?- I've dedicated my life to figuring out how to build go to market motions through community building over the last 10 years, and it just so happens that some of those same context shifts have made community building and partnerships the 2 most effective go to market motions today- I've been relentlessly obsessed with category design since reading Play Bigger 5 years, and have deliberately evolved a skill set and experience within the discipline that less than 100 people have in the world today - I happen to have applied both of those skillsets within the single family home investing space, leading to massive success for one of the premier players in the space (JWB Real Estate Capital), while serving multiple other clients, building a world class team, and becoming an investor myselfIf you see what I see... a tsunami of prosperity coming to this space... and you are ready to win by looking at it differently...
