About Pablo Toledo
I am an English language teacher and teacher trainer with postgraduate studies in educational assessment (University of Cambridge) and education policy (Universidad Torcuato di Tella). In my current role at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, I work with Latin American teachers and institutions to foster good assessment practices and a good integration of learning, teaching and assessment,I have managed projects for the British Council. I developed the concept, construction and operations for a Remote Teaching Centre, and designed programmes to teach languages to refugees via videoconference. I also led conversations towards an agreement of mutual recognition of postgraduate degrees between the UK and Argentina, as well as other projects in the area of Education and Society.I am an experienced teacher of English literature, teaching methodology and creative writing. I have training and experience as a publisher/editor both in editorial and journalistic contexts.I am also a novelist and short story writer. My first novel, "Se esconde tras los ojos"(Clarín-Aguilar, 2000), won the Premio Clarín de Novela 2000.
