Member of the Board of Director, representing Positivo Informatica S.A (Brazil) within the Joint Venture, with direct responsibility for monitoring the executive management, representation and signature. I was in charge of the internationalization of Positivo Informatica SA (Brazil) to Argentina and Uruguay countries, made the appropriate market research, designed diverse go to market strategies and the relations with the potential partners. Finally building up the current Joint Venture with BGH Argentina, operating by the trade “Positivo-BGH”, getting the result of one of the most successful technology company in Argentina with the first position on sales (GFK Report), with facilities in Tierra del Fuego and Buenos Aires. After that, Positivo through the JV, decided to expand his business in Africa with factories in Rwanda and Keyna for computers, cell-phones and other devices. Now it is working to spread the operations to other African countries.

Positivo Group is the largest Educational and Technology company in Brazil.In the educational field, with 1,2 million students in their system, it has one of the most important private University of Brazil, the largest printing unit company in Latin American and one of the major educational publisher in the country.In technology is the leader of the market on computer and cellular devices.As you can see in www.positivo.com.br and www.positivoinformatica.com.brI have commanded the responsibility for the internationalization of many areas in the group.Within Positivo Informatica SA: I was in charge of generating a large market research and analyzing strategies to be implemented and created a Joint Venture for their entry into the region. This included several negotiations with potential partners and the final arrangement with current partner.Within Posigraf: I have developed different strategies for opening the market to export printed materials from Brazil to the largest publishers and retail companies in the region (Argentina and Uruguay). Being one of the largest Brazilian printing companies with a remarkable presence in Argentina, without having its own plant in the country.Within Editora Positivo: Over the last years I have made the market research, the go to market strategy and the relationships with potential partners, to export its educational system to the entire Latin-American region, which the group has been applying with a great success in Brazil. The Positivo educational system is applied in Brazil in more than 5.000 schools and 1.200.000 students. The decision to internationalize the operations was suspended due to the current crisis in the country, which led to my concerted disengagement.

After my Ph.D. in Economic Sciences degree with my academic background, the group put me in charge to analyze and reshape the strategy for internationalization of its University. For this reason, among others strategies that have been developed to achieve its goals, I managed multiple projects as the largest International Educational Congress called “Educ-Innova”, researched and developed and educational web to spread educational content to professors and teachers throughout all Latin American countries, Different events to capacitate medical doctors in the personalized medicine via genetic diagnosis, among other proposals. All of them were suspended to launch due to the current crisis in the country, which led to my concerted disengagement.

I had been legal representative of Positivo Informatica of Brazil, until I was designating to the position of Board Director. In Argentina is not allowed you can have both charges.

This company was the largest printing company around the world with operations in 90 countries and 120 facilities, until its merger with another company. I was in charge of the Commercial and Marketing sector deparment of the company, with the objective to increase the sales on new and actual customers. For this reason, I applied my expertise to develop and open new niches in Argentinian and International markets. It was a great experience to apply my expertise and skill in an International company from an SME enterprise and understand the rules of this kind of largest corporations.

When I started my studies in business administration at university, I had to decide if I would join a multinational company or build my own enterprise, while I was attending the university. I decided the second choice and started up and organized my business. I initiated with few money and 2 employees but with an enormous entrepreneur attitude. After the 19 years that took me this project, I had built a printing company with more than 100 employees working in rotation turns during 24 hours a day, a printing plant of 2.500 square meters, annual billing among more than 200 clients and between the three largest companies in the sector of promotional printing.This experience gave me the necessary expertise and background to:• Start up and organized a company.• Developed a strategic plan for growth an enterprise.• Understand and develop financial strategies to cope with the business growth.• Recruit, develop and leadership a management team.• Research and build up a strong group of leading clients.• Analysis and introduction of high and advance technology.• Manage different external economic and political crisis.• Every skills necessary to build and growth with the difficulties of a creation from an idea.

I was a pro-bono Board Member, with the intention to build a vigorous association where every professional involved in the field of Marketing, had a space to capacitate, share experience and build a relationship among them.We did many International Congress, training courses and activities for all the partners and related companies and we had achieved many international partners en USA and Europe.
