Summary I have been doing software development for more than 30 years in a variety of computer languages. My language of choice at the moment is c#. One of my major strengths is the ability to take undefined user specifications (and there have been times in the past just user concept ideas) and make it happen from start to finish. On more than one occasion the end software products I’ve produced have brought significant positive recognition and or revenue to that organization at the time. I take pride in as well as ownership of any software product I create and support. Personally, I just love software development and knew that was what I was meant to do from day one. For myself, software development is the art of creating something useful from nothing but an idea of what could be.Disclaimer: Thoughts that are voiced here are my own and are not a reflection of any company listed on this page.

Old GuyDiscarded Senior Citizen Inc Feb 2020 - PresentBecause KPMG wanted to hire cheaper younger programmers, 3 years before retirement by phone call after 15 years of excellent service KPMG told me my services were no longer needed. During my entire employment never received a single bad employee review. Actually received raises and bonuses. On the day of termination, told me I was too expensive to keep in the company. Never asked if I would take a pay cut, to stay with them. KPMG just discarded me. This is what you can expect if you work for them. You will most likely never reach 62 or 67 with this company. During the entire 15 years I worked for them there was never a retirement party for anyone in the DC office in my area. It's so bad there they don't even give you an office or a permanent seat. They have a thing called hoteling that you have to redo every couple of weeks to keep the desk you've got. That should have been the first warning sign.
