The Benedictine monks of Newark Abbey have been part of the fabric of the community of downtown Newark for more than 150 years and, under the leadership of Fr. Developed and lead the implementation of strategic plans and set of initiatives that support Notre Dame’s commitment to advance K-12 schooling, with a particular attention to Catholic schools, through teaching, scholarship and service with a team of 120 team members and an annual operating budget of $20M.- Led and organized a national strategic principal gifts program and managed a portfolio of top principal, mega, and legacy gift donors (7-8 figure gifts) with gift amounts ranging up to $25M- Provided proactive, creative, and consistent cultivation and stewardship for these long-term donors and their heirs to ensure the donor’s experience is engaging and highly personalized- Accomplished an average of 20-30 in-person visits monthly with a portfolio of 300+ donors- Met or exceeded an annual goal of $15M in funds raised from individuals and foundations- Raised $180M over 9 years through individual and institutional giving in the form of annual, endowed, planned, and capital (physical infrastructure) gifts to advance strategic initiatives- Managed operating budget, development funding, communications and governance
