Award-winning senior sports reporter/ producer for Ten News based in the network’s national headquarters. This has included being the network’s cricket and swimming reporter for Australia’s leading sports news program Sports Tonight. I have also led the network’s weekend rugby league editorial coverage. As a senior sports journalist with 18 years’ experience, I am responsible for the gathering of high-profile stories which have come from forming relationships with a mix of contacts. Working for IMG Worldwide and the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) to manage the media, communication and broadcast delivery of the DLF Indian Premier League T20 competition. Key tasks included the co-ordination of match day media operations, liaising with and leading host broadcast unit to deliver global vision to rights holders. This role also included pre, during and post-tournament strategic communication process planning; match-day broadcast facilitation; a key liaison role with high-profile international players, nine franchises, 12 venues, two host broadcasters and media from around the world. This also involved high level crisis management, directing players and franchise board members throughout the tournament.
