Over 45 years of experience working in the fields of drugs, alcohol and criminal justice. Have developed and managed services in the community and in prisons and acted as a consultant and trainer to governmental and non-governmental organisations in the UK and other countries.I have organised national and international conferences and events - up to 1,500 people attending - as well as providing consultancy and training.My principal interests are policy and organisational development. My areas of expertise are tobacco and drugs harm reduction, alcohol harm reduction and criminal justice, particularly examining 'whole system', evidence-based approaches to tackling complex problems.I have spent the past 12 years as a Director of Knowledge-Action-Change and am now acting as a consultant to assist the new management through a period of transition.
