Systems AdministratorMain duties• Maintaining and troubleshooting issues with the local server • Dealing with any IT related issues in the workplace – setting up new PC’s, Software Issues etc. • Demonstrating software such as Office, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams • Liaise with third party IT Software providers to help overcome any issues that occurred. • Able to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate. • Answering phones and speaking to clients • Organising and assigning surveyors to received enquiries • Keeping track of employee training and making sure everyone was eligible for attending sites.Estimator Main Duties:• Gain knowledge of the companies specialist systems by spending a significant amount of time on site assisting site installation operatives• Be able to, after training, assist in completion of tenders received in the form of Bills of Quantities• Learn how to answer enquiries from contractors, architects, engineers and other clients in a helpful and knowledgeable manner• Accurately cost in-house technical specifications to produce material quantities etc• Comprehend detailed drawings, Bills of Quantities and tenders to enable accurate measurement of quantities• Develop the ability to negotiate rates and prices with material manufacturers and suppliers• Source and procure materials and plant to the correct specification in line with estimated costs to enable the timely completion of contracts within budget• Assist in the production of all client amendments to specifications and production of final drawings or documents• Input data from labour and materials used on completed projects to ascertain gross profit or losses• Creating Health and Safety documents highlighting how the company will carry out the job safely and effectively.
