Returned to the firm for a second internship, yet again working as a part of the Gas & LNG Trading team. Mainly working with Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), PostgreSQL, Tableau, and Excel, I carried out multiple assignments throughout the summer. These included building an intrinsic gas storage model for forecasting North-West European gas injections and withdrawals, using exploratory data analysis to find trends between various price spreads and gas storage data, and building a Tableau dashboard displaying price spread data taken from both the database and the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) website.

I worked as a part of the Gas & LNG Trading Department, using Python to analyse datasets on industrial demand and gas price indexes across Europe, especially Germany, to help support traders’ decisions. I performed multiple linear regression to find relationships and presented my findings in Tableau. I also regressed LNG price spreads against demand in Europe and Asia.
