A confident and ambitious teacher of Chemistry at Ashbourne Sixth Form College. I aim to inspire my students to learn and love Chemisty.I'm a proud member of the Ashbourne community which was founded in 1981 and has since become one of the best sixth form colleges in London. We at Ashbourne help students build the confidence and skills necessary achieve outstanding A level results and go on to top universities.I also collaborate with other teachers, staff and outside agencies to plan and deliver effective and inclusive lessons and CPD, sharing of best practice across disciplines along with the development and implementation of targted interventions aligned with the curriculum and the students' individual needs and attainment.In addition to teaching, I am also a qualified chemist and a researcher, with a strong academic background and industry experience. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Education with Chemistry from Bishop Grosseteste University, and a B.Sc in Analytical Chemistry with Quality Assurance from Munster Technological University, where I received a first class honors in Chemistry along with multiple awards for academic excellence including the Pfizer Gold Medal for academic excellence and the awarding of Faculty Scholar. I have also worked as an undergraduate QCL analyst at Eli Lilly and Company, where I performed small molecule characterization and supported new product introduction.
