Paddy is a Director of Ryan Hanley and is a Chartered Engineer with over 24 years’ experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects, particularly in the water industry. He is also responsible for strategic direction of the company, developing new work streams, managing growth of the business and staff recruitment. Day-to-day he is also responsible for operational direction of the wastewater, structures and active travel divisions of the company.Paddy has extensive experience of programme management and project management across a range of projects through all stages from concept design through to planning, detailed design, preparation of specifications, contract documents, tendering, construction, commissioning and handover. Paddy has also considerable experience in construction management and contract administration and is an Adjunct Lecturer at NUI Galway in Construction Management and Health & Safety in Construction. He also has expertise in providing health & safety advice and in undertaking the PSDP role on construction projects24
