Ceo/ChairEpic Cic Nov 2017 - Apr 2022London, United KingdomEpic was the first public service youth mutual to spin out of local government, in 2014, delivering a range of children's and youth services for the marginalised communities of Kensington and Chelsea. I led Epic through an extremely challenging period, including reduction in core contract income of 65%, largely due to local authority funding cuts and decision to take services back in-house. This ultimately led to the decision to wind-up the organisation on a voluntary, solvent basis. Having met all its liabilities, Epic has been able to donate c. £40k to a range of local youth organisations, before finally closing. -
