Accountable for the management and regulatory compliance of in line inspections and external corrosion direct assessment of high pressure natural gas pipelines, ensuring compliance to SoCalGas’ Transmission Integrity Management Plan and 49 CFR 192, and responding to California Public Utility Commission data requests.Responsible for providing direction to engineering project managers and project engineers, internal process and policy development, developing project contingency plans, and providing guidance to internal engineers, project managers from peer departments, and managers. Acts as a liaison between the Pipeline Integrity Construction and Engineering departments to effectively communicate the in-line inspection compliance, scope of work, and tool validation requirements. Has hired and trained three new project managers. Originally hired as an Engineering Project Manager, and was quickly promoted.Selected Accomplishments, Projects, and Initiatives:▪ Responsible for the Engineering response to restart leaks on Pipeline 235 Rupture and repair. ▪ Leads Engineering effort to integrate ILI pipe tally results to GIS system as a result of lesson learned on Pipeline 235.▪ Established project management matrix to track the status of projects (Inspection and Validation)across the project lifetime to determining project metrics, identify project gaps, resource deficiencies, and possible areas of improvement.▪ Led Engineering discovery, determination, and remediation response, and facilitated communication for impacted stakeholders for 26 immediate an safety-related conditions.▪ Developed Immediate Condition and Safety-Related Condition Communication plan to effectively and consistently communicate the impact of safety conditions to stakeholders across the organization.▪ Managed a portfolio of 31 ILI and 5 ECDA inspections due for reassessment in 2019, and served as Engineering Project Manager for 16 of the 31 ILI inspections.

Responsible for the identification, development, review, and execution of energy-efficiency projects with large commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. Responsible for project management, management and completion of energy efficiency audits, development of internal quality standards and procedures for audits, leading field assessment teams, suggesting equipment or process modifications, developing energy-efficiency calculator tools and training materials (for the California Energy Committee), and other related assignments. Selected Accomplishments, Projects, and Initiatives:▪ Represented SoCalGas in a customer service advisory role to a diverse clientele providing tailored technical solutions, assessment expertise, and policy guidance to each client.▪ Managed and completed more than 300 custom energy-efficiency audits and assessment for C&I customers resulting in the identification and approval of more than 30 million therms in savings.

Responsible for the identification and development of energy efficiency project feasibility studies, leading customer interactions, field assessment teams and spearheading the development of energy efficiency tools for use with the Custom Calculated Energy Efficiency Program. Other responsibilities including obtaining on-site measurements and customer historical data, creating energy savings calculations and providing customers with a clear and well-supported study with reasonable energy savings expectations.
