CurrentSupply Chain Management / Logistics: Ensuring availability and delivery of right quality materials at the right time, price and terms. Devising efficient logistics management system to ensure delivery of the goods / shipments as per committed timelines and cost; managing effective. Identifying and developing potential suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness; assessing performance of the vendors based on their competitiveness and productivity and ensures adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material of job works.Materials / Inventory Management: Handling the inventory function so as to curtail inventory holding expenses. Ensuring the specifications of materials, establishing quality & quantity for effective inventory control and reducing wastages. Managing the disposal of obsolete and retired inventory; reviewing open requisitions periodically and tracking GIT and co-ordinate with CHA for timely custom clearance.Warehousing & Distributions: Planning and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Monitoring receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of stock. Supervising the maintenance & operations of site store warehouse containing a wide variety of parts, equipments and materials. Overseeing that all paper work is processed in a timely manner and according to UPS guidelines. Following up on discrepancies, damage/expired goods and claims and revert them to the company store house.
