• Keep direct supervision over general manufacturing operations and daily activities for production leaders, production supervisors, group leaders and production operators (100 + employees).• Responsible for promoting a productive and safe working environment, preventing waste of material as well as personnel injuries through the use of, but not limited to lean manufacturing tools (5S’s, Standardized Work, Kaizen, Six Sigma projects, etc). • Monitor production activities within the facility to assure continuous adherence to manufacturing plans (forecast), achieving productivity and quality goals along with customer satisfaction.• Responsible for maintaining staffing accordingly to manufacturing plans, oversees all production cells to keep optimal resources balance. • Facilitator for JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and ergonomic work practices. Enlisted issues and cooperates with Safety department as required in safety related activities.• Analyzed operations performance on a daily basis and performed necessary adjustments accordingly to manufacturing plans in order to get improvements over Key Performance Indicators (efficiency, scrap, and outgoing quality).• Responsible for maintaining accuracy of assigned WIP (Work In Process) inventory and promoted adequate use of raw material while looking to avoid excess and scrap.• Keep right staffing on manufacturing cell lines accordingly to production schedule on a daily basis.• Completed direct reports performance evaluations/reviews on a timely basis.• Together with CI (Continuous Improvement) engineers used problem solving techniques (such as 8D´s and 5 Why´s) to solve on-the-job problems, including low production, poor quality, equipment issues, etc. • Worked together with Human Resources department in accordance to company's policies and applicable laws administrating discipline. • Other responsibilities assigned such as training to newly hired employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving human related issues.

• Responsible for maintaining 2nd. Shift operations of eleven assembly cells (on two Focused Factories). • Pilot runs and model changes coordination, programming of production, inventory and scrap control. • Worked on a team based strategy (Process Eng, Quality Eng, Design Eng) in order to achieve lean guidelines (Kaizen, 5´s, etc).• Help Continuous Improvement Engineering implement Six Sigma projects fixing issues like machine downtime and product defects.• Performed as internal auditor for ISO 9001:2000 for periodic reviews.

• Fixture design, equipment maintenance, layout changes, engineering notices, visual aids. • Bill of Material changes, pilot runs. Introduction of new processes to production lines.• Being responsible for maintaining machines of several welding processes like induction, spot, ultrasonic, laser and Tig welding.• Co-work with Quality personnel generating process control plans and assure its implementation into production lines.

Jr. SMT Manufacturing Engineer: Responsible for operate and maintain SMT machines such as Paste Printing (MPM-Speedline), Reflow Oven (Furukawa N2 generator) and Wave Soldering Machine (Jyidiann) supervising 3 Technicians. Handle of laser paste measurement microscope (ASM), stencil and PCB washing machine (SAWA). Responsible for standard operation procedures to meet ISO-9002 requirements; layouts, installation of 2 SMT assembly lines, training to technicians and engineers for operate MPM UP-1500 and Reflow Oven. Perform temperature profiles on Reflow oven and wave solders as well of maintain good operations of SMT machines mentioned above.

Technical Applications Engineer (Sales of Industrial Gases): Responsible for technical assistance to costumers, development of new market branches, survey of new installations, business development, commercial proposals, management of strategic costumers, market studies and competence analysis, promote new applications to industry, signing of corporate accounts, administration of costumers’ accounts and prices. Accomplishment and transmission of quality and security culture on product handling within the facility and with customers.

Electrical harnesses drawings interpretation (blueprints), first samples and production lines initiation. Tooling and equipment acquisition as well as fixture designs. Working several providers for changes implemented on work areas. Conduct engineering changes and paperwork updates to production lines, build boards modifications and manufacturing of new build boards. Management of "Short Order Area" and "Sample Order Area" (special production areas). Work Methods and Visual Aids elaboration for production processes on assembly lines. BOM (Bill of Material) maintenance.
