As an intern, I worked with the synthesis of synthetic snake venom peptides using automated peptide synthesizer, expression of novel snake venom proteins and purification using HPLC.

I worked as a personal tutor for children from GCSE to A-levels in biology and chemistry. I have always found teaching as a way to pass on the knowledge of science and help the younger minds find the interest and glory I saw in it too!

As a thesis student and research intern, my work here entitled "Effect of herbal extracts against motion sickness" involved testing plant-herbal extracts and its bioactive compounds for anti-emetic properties. Further, the analysis was aimed at in-vivo experiments (mouse) and designing of a food product for use on ships by active naval officers.

As an undergraduate research intern, I worked on the project titled "Investigation of teratogenic effects of ayurvedic formulations on Zebra Fish model". The main aim of the project was to subject zebrafish embryos against the formulation and potentially identify its ability as a teratogen.
